Forthcoming events

What a great winter it was last year, here and abroad! We are obviously hoping for another white winter here in the northeast later this year and the chance to get out and about, on forest trails, golf courses, cycle paths, wherever the snow is good. Keep checking the website and use the telephone/email contacts for snow in the hills and elsewhere.

Planned trips for the 2011/12 winter season include telemark skiing in the alps in January, gentle track skiing in Austria, and in Norway, both an easier hut to hut tour for the less experienced, and a more demanding tour for those more experienced.

Roller skiing, social events, and trips to the climbing wall in Byker complete the line-up for the coming months.
